Why We’re Building Overclock
When we were building our last company, we noticed that everything (aside from writing code) happened in email.
Sales. Hiring. Customer support. Talking to users.
We tried using dedicated CRMs like Zendesk, HubSpot, and Greenhouse for each purpose but they added significant cost, complexity, and constant context-switching between tools and our inbox.
So as founders, we had to default to doing work the “gritty way”: manually managing it all inside our inbox and spreadsheets.
We thought: “What if the inbox actually understood our emails and helped us run our company right inside one app?”
What is Overclock?
Overclock is the inbox reimagined for founders, entrepreneurs, and small teams. We use AI to eliminate the need for multiple CRMs and let you work entirely inside your email.
In September we're launching:
A lightweight, AI-native CRM: a powerful CRM made easy with AI auto-filling, labeling and intelligent follow up suggestions.

Why Now
Gmail and Outlook were built 20+ years ago and still look and operate the same. The traditional email client is not built for business; they’re communication tools. The latest advancements in AI help make the product we’re dreaming of possible.
